Former Scottish KUGB Senior Instructor and International Competitor - Paul Allan has been promoted to International 7th degree Black Belt in Shotokan Karate by the (USA-SKF) USA Shotokan Karate Federation and the American Shotokan Karate Federation.
Already an Official Instructor of the ASKF ( the first non- American to become this) he is now recognised also by the USA-SKF International Branch.
While attending as one of the Guest Instructors at the recent International Masters Training Camp in Atlantic City NJ, Paul was awarded this prestigious promotion by Shihan Richard Gould along with the Senior Instructors of the Technical Boards of both the USA-SKF and ASKF.
Paul, an existing member of the International Shotokan-Ryu Karate-Do Shihankai was also invited to become the first International member of the North American Karate-Do Shihankai. Following this promotion, the "USA-SKF" have appointed Sensei Allan as thier "European Technical Director". Subsequently the "International Shotokan-Ryu Karate Do Shihankai" have also endorsed the promotion, by presenting him with a 7th Dan Diploma.
Editorial Note: A Shihankai is a group of the most senior Karate Instructors.
